I grew up on a farm in Snohomish, WA. After high school I studied anthropology, earning a B.A. and Masters at Washington State University, University of Stirling, and Syracuse University. I then studied dentistry at the University of Iowa and Aarhus University, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Though my studies and travels have taken me far and wide, my heart belongs to the Palouse. I bought my practice in 1997 and cannot fathom how fast time has passed. I couldn’t have been so successful without the thousands of loyal patients who trust me with their care and the hard work of my loyal staff.
When not fixing smiles, I live on a small farm outside of town, raising my own food, along with two Labs, four chickens and two teenage boys. I enjoy gardening, fishing, travel and photography.
